As I read in reviews of Mail Inspector 3 it is missing spam-filter and an addressbook. The spame-filters are currently under development and will come up in the next version of Mail Inspector 4. Besides this I started to think about the addressbook-feature which is kind of difficult.

The problem with this is that there are different needs which should be addressed. In most cases the addressbook to be used should be the one from the Mail Client(s) used. Every Mail Client has its own API for the addressbook as MAPI is not the best standard ever build. But for system don't using an external Mail Client Mail Inspector should feature its own addressbook (what is the easyiest part of all).

So I am thinking about the designgoals and the priority of this whole topic. That's why I started a new voting so one can get a feeling how important the addressbook is you - the users. Please let me know your meaning!
